So after year and a half of living as a road warrior, I decided that it’s about time to start my own blog. This is a way for people who are interested to keep up with where I am and to read about the random and interesting events that happen on my travels. Also, it’s a way for me to process my thoughts and vent about everything that occurs to me on the road. I also want to be able to look back and laugh about this lifestyle. For those of you who don’t know what I do, I am the Institutional Relations Coordinator for a study abroad organization. Basically, I am the representative for my company in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky,Tennessee, Mississippi, West Virginia, Virginia, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Illinois, and Wisconsin. So yeah- biiiiig territory.I am traveling around to visit all of these places typically by car, so I can drive 1,000 miles per week, and I spend about 6 months a year on the road. Some days I feel like I’m the freest person alive when I’m driving on the open road on a beautiful day, and other days I wish I were anywhere else but the random little town I’m in. That’s the beauty of the job though- no day is the same, and I never know what people and situations I will encounter along the way. It’s always an adventure!
